Andy Serkis, known for his work in The Lord of the Rings, is narrating a science fiction adaptation of The Odyssey called Odysseus Rising, set to release on Audible in February 2027. This project leverages the continued audience interest in The Odyssey following Christopher Nolan's recent film adaptation, and offers a unique audio experience with a futuristic reimagining of the classic tale. The release could capitalize on the existing buzz surrounding both Serkis’s acting career and the enduring popularity of epic storytelling.
